On April 5, 2022, phase 2 coke oven gas desulfurization and denitrification project of Guangxi Shenglong Metallurgical Corporation was put into service.

In addition to the phase 2 project, WISDRI was commissioned with several other engineering tasks by the same Owner, including phase 1 coke oven gas desulfurization and denitrification project, 3#, 4# sintering and pelletizing gas desulfurization and denitrification project, and 3# active coke oven scaling up project.

Building on successful applications to previous coking, sintering and pelletizing plants, the dry desulfurization + SCR denitrification of waste gas adopted by the captioned project has been upgraded to fulfil China’s strictest standards for fume emissions nowadays. Active coke applied to the phase 2 project facilitates stable operation in desulfurization and denitrification with lower coke fine losses and costs while fulfilling standard-based emissions and discharges of SO_2, NOx, dust, heavy metals, and dioxins. By-products generated in production are also recycled to realize no waste water discharge.

SCR multi-silo design, ultra-fine powder process, emergency bypass interlocking process and online catalyst replacement help balance effective desulfurization and denitrification system and safe coke oven production at lower operating costs.
